Project SEE

We’ve reached the goal! All 220 kilometers , and even a little beyond , have now been sponsored through the kindness and generosity of friends and well-wishers.

A Journey of Light and Purpose

A Journey of Light and Purpose is a five-day, 220-kilometer endurance run across the deserts and canyons of Nevada, designed to combine physical challenge with humanitarian impact. The project uses long-distance running as a platform to raise funds and awareness for individuals suffering from preventable blindness.

This was not a traditional race, but a purpose-driven mission where every kilometer represented a commitment to restoring sight and dignity to those living in darkness.

Restoring Vision Through Purpose-Driven Action

The project aimed to fund life-changing eye surgeries for individuals affected by preventable blindness. Through community support, over $22,000 was raised, enabling 220 surgeries that restored vision, independence, and dignity.

Beyond fundraising, the initiative demonstrated how endurance sports can drive measurable social impact and transform personal achievement into meaningful humanitarian action.

Gratitude Beyond the Finish Line

As the runner crossed the finish line — healthy, uninjured, and filled with gratitude — one truth became clear:
The real victory wasn’t in completing the 220 kilometers. It was in giving 220 people the gift of sight and dignity.

To everyone who donated, encouraged, and believed in this mission — thank you.
You didn’t just support a run; you helped someone see their loved ones again.
