empowering 86 children sustained care community support

Launch of a Transformative Partnership
In July 2025, One Step Foundation began a long-term partnership with Kidep Foundation, a grassroots orphanage and outreach center in Moshi, Tanzania. Founded by Diomedi Paskali, a former street child who now leads with compassion and clarity, Kidep provides critical care for 86 children—40 who live full-time at the orphanage and 46 more supported in surrounding communities.
Holistic Care for children
Kidep offers more than just shelter. It provides education, food, healthcare, mentorship, and emotional support, creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can heal, grow, and build a better future.

Symbolic Start and Lasting Commitment
Following a visit and an initial donation of $5,895—a dollar for every meter of Mount Kilimanjaro—One Step Foundation officially adopted Kidep as one of its core international projects. We are committed to long-term impact through sustained funding, infrastructure improvements, education support, and community partnerships.
Local Leadership for Local Impact
The project is coordinated on the ground by our trusted volunteer, Daudi Bayo, whose local leadership and deep commitment ensure that support is directed where it’s needed most.
